Surveying Support Officer

Working within Property Services (Housing), you will be one of three Surveying Support Officers (Clerk of Works) charged with providing technical supervision of building contractors delivering the annual cyclic, planned and major improvement works to Council housing properties.

You will be predominantly site based in a role ensuring building works are undertaken in accordance with our specifications, technical standards, in accordance with health and safety legislation and carrying out financial valuations of completed works.    

You will be responsible for providing updates on site visits and progress of contracts to our Contract Managers and to record such information on our property database.

You will undertake detailed surveying, specification and organisation of building works carried out by the Planned Maintenance team.  

You will have experience in property maintenance and delivering projects safely, on time, within budget and to key performance targets.
