To deliver a service we’re proud of we need a team of highly skilled and motivated customer service professionals. So if you are an enthusiastic, customer focused team player, this is your opportunity to make a difference and join our customer service team.

Centrally based at our main offices in Winchester you will be working in a busy customer service centre dealing with enquiries for all of the Council’s main services. You will be the first point of contact for our customers so we are looking for candidates who are well presented, friendly and excel in dealing with customer enquiries either on the telephone, face to face or online.

Thorough training will be provided but ideally you will have at least two years experience of working within a customer focused environment and a genuine desire to deliver an excellent service. Candidates need to be educated to GCSE level/NVQ Customer Care level 2 standard, or equivalent, with excellent communication and IT literacy skills. Dress code is smart casual.

Candidates will be required to complete a basic computer skills ability test as part of the interview.
