We are currently recruiting for the role of Policy & Performance Officer and looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to support the Council develop and deliver its key priorities for the District.

With excellent communication and analytical skills you will enjoy supporting the Council through high quality research across a range of topics and helping to facilitate and deliver new ways of doing business in the Council. You must relish the challenge of thinking differently and want to play a role in helping the Council adapt and react to the challenges that are coming our way.

You will need to keep abreast of new developments in the sector and be able to provide briefings on good practice and what the Council can learn from others. You’ll also have first rate interpersonal skills and be able to quickly establish good working relationships with a wide range of both internal and external people. Educated to degree level, or equivalent, you’ll be a confident self starter and used to taking the initiative.

This post is full time for 37 hours a week and is temporary until August 2018.
