Are you looking for a new challenge in a varied role in housing finance and are able to communicate effectively with external and internal customers on the telephone, via e-mail and through face to face meetings, you are likely to meet the requirements of this role!

We will expect the successful person to be IT literate and numerate and with strong organisational skills. Previous experience with cash or bank reconciliations would be an advantage but is not essential.

The role is as part of the Rents Team, dealing with rent and service charge accounts and will involve working with bespoke IT systems, processing of Direct Debits and advising on payment methods and plans for debt settlement. Past experience of dealing with rent accounts or credit control is desired but not essential as full training will be given.

The duties will involve liaison with colleagues in the Housing and Finance Departments to ensure prompt payment of debts is achieved where possible. Answering enquiries from customers and liaising with other staff to resolve disputes is a key part of the role.
