IT Business Support Manager 
Looking for a challenging IT management role in a dynamic local authority environment?
We have an exiting opportunity for an IT Business Support Manager within our Shared IT Service at Winchester City Council and Test Valley Borough Council.
This is a key post within the Shared Service Management Team and you’ll play a central part in the delivery of IT projects and change management. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll lead a team that oversees the procurement and provision of IT contracts, and manages our range of suppliers and contractors. You’ll also manage financial administration across the IT Shared Service including budgeting and monitoring of revenue and capital expenditure, and developing business cases for funding.
You’ll need to be a flexible, supportive team leader with proven experience of setting priorities, managing workloads and meeting targets. A background in delivering complex IT projects is essential, preferably supported by a qualification in business case development and/or project management. You’ll need to be an experienced budget manager who understands public sector procurement rules, and a knowledge of business process analysis and improvement would also be an advantage.
